Trifko Basic

MASc graduate in mechatronics, working in the robotic automation industry.

About Me

I have a BASc in Mechanical Engineering, and a MASc in mechatronics engineering from Queen's University. I'm currently working as a Mechanical designer at MPAC Group specializing in robotic workcells in the automated packaging industry. I have a strong passion for learning and designing new technologies. I am excited to embrace new challenges, where I aim to enhance my skills and contribute to improving the areas I work in.

Master's Research - Soft Pneumatic Actuators
Queen's University - Ingenuity Labs Research Institute • Sep 2021 - Aug 2023

A new strategy is proposed for modulating the mechanical power output of an inverse pneumatic actuator muscle (iPAM), by designing a valve mechanism to regulate the flow of internal pressurized air exhausted to atmosphere during the iPAM's power stroke in contraction from an inflated initial state.
